Pillow box Challenge

Over on Daisy Trail One of the challenges for this week was to design and make a pillow box

So I used the template on Craft Artist Platinum And added my Background papers and elements until I was happy with my design  

Then the fun bit printing out and making up my Pillow box.

I added some green ribbon trim to keep the box closed .

Daisy Trail Challenge

We had to use a Photo of a female Loved one and scrap it 

3 Times.

I blended the first one into an overlay, the second into black and white, the third was just popped into a pretty frame

Gone Potty

Our Keaton has been doing a bit of training ( Potty Training that is)

Well on Friday He managed to do his first wee wee, After a lot of Clapping and cheering from his Gramps and I

There is no stopping him.

That first hour he managed  to squeeze out five, the last few were more like drips from a tap.

 Over the weekend he has been asking often to go and sit on the potty.

Still not there yet a hundred percent ,but well on the way

Embossing

Been having a go at getting an embossed effect on my Digi  scrapbook layouts

This was my first attempt.

The kisses were a from a font that I have on the PC

This is my second go, Love this page.

With the embossing and the cluster frame ,and I am sure I will be adding a lot more embossed effects to my layouts in the future

Two Challenge layouts

These are two Layouts that I have done for challenges over on Daisy trail Forum

The first was to make a cluster frame

The second was to have an exploding box.

You must have a framed photo of someone special to you, this is Mum and Dad on their wedding day.

also the items had to look as if they are flying out of the box.

you also had to show the lid of the box.

this is my first attempt at anything like this, I enjoyed it very much, you have to put your thinking cap on.

Two more of our Keats

Having a play with a new kits from Digi Creatons, just love the browns with all the bright embellishments.

This is Keaton in a very thoughtful mood 

 This one is our little star in the making.

This is one of his favourite Christmas presents, he sings along very loudly into his mic, I'm not sure what he is singing about though

Kitty Cats

These are my daughters cats, ginger one is Andrew and the grey is William

Gong to alter an A4 frame an pop this layout inside as a surprise for her

This layout was done using the newly released  Craft Artist Platinum software.

It is the next step up from Digital Scrapbook Artist, that I have been using for the last two years and have   loved so much

It only arrived today so still finding my way around things, but like what I see so far

Touch of Blue

For this Layout I had a little play with masks in the Photo lab

I changed the photo to black and white, added a mask over the top, using the brush tool erased the mask over the hat and gloves to show the blue colours, then saved before adding to my layout

my sister in law will be celebrating her 60th Birthday in January , Her Children have asked me to do some scrapbook pages Of all her grand children so that they can have them printed into a 12x12 photo book.
Here are the first few, she has 13 grandchildren so I have quite a few layouts to get finished , I am still waiting for my Nieces and Nephews to bring me more photos ready to scrap
